The AHLA Foundation is the charitable giving arm of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). Our dedication lies in uplifting, enlightening, and enabling individuals and the public about the industry's narrative of possibilities and progress. The Foundation is committed to assisting individuals in constructing their careers, enhancing their lives, and fortifying the lodging industry.
One of the ways we do that is through our Apprenticeship Program. By partnering with hundreds of hospitality groups across the country, we can foster and mentor the future leaders of this industry.
Benefits:
The Hotel Cook Apprentice Program provides on-the-job learning and related instruction to those seeking entry-level culinary positions in the hospitality industry.
The Lodging Manager Apprentice Program provides on-the-job learning and related instruction to those seeking entry-level front desk and housekeeping training in the hospitality industry.
The Maintenance Apprentice Program does not require any previous experience working in hospitality or building repairs. Apprentices learn the basics of both within this program.
