Review Sessions and Workshops

This workshop is designed to support hotel leaders in successfully preparing for and completing the Certified Hospitality Manager (CHM) certification program in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This comprehensive program strengthens the essential competencies required to effectively manage teams, apply strategic business skills, and support managers in building high-performing teams and profitable operations.

Led by a Mr. George Ubbelohde, CHA, CHE, CHT, Certified Senior Master Trainer & EuroCHRIE Director of Industry Relations, with more than 30 years of international executive experience, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world demands, the program covers key management areas including hotel operations, leadership, recruiting and hiring, financial management, and revenue management, combining practical application with industry-relevant knowledge. Participants engage in dynamic learning that bridges theory and real-world practice, enabling them to enhance leadership capabilities and advance their professional certification journey.

This virtual workshop takes place from 4pm to 7pm Central European Time, on November 26, 27, and December 3, 4 and the final exam takes place on December 4.

Once you have registered for this workshop and purchased the CHM program, you will need to log into your AHLEI account, or create an AHLEI account if you don't already have one. Then go to your learning dashboard and complete the CHA application. After the application is submitted, your application will be reviewed, and you will receive an email once the review is complete.

Become a certified Guest Service Gold^® trainer and gain the knowledge, tools, and confidence to deliver the Guest Service Gold^® (Golden Opportunities) classroom program within your organization. This interactive virtual Train-the-Trainer workshop is designed for individuals who will facilitate the in-person Guest Service Gold^® course. During the session, participants will review proven training best practices, explore the flow and design of the classroom experience, and learn effective techniques for teaching the five core elements of hospitality excellence. The workshop also covers classroom administration, material management, certification exam procedures, and resources available to support successful program delivery.

To ensure all participants are fully prepared, registration must be completed at least three weeks prior to the workshop. This allows sufficient time for participant materials to be shipped and for attendees to complete the Guest Service Gold^® Online Course and Certification Exam before attending the Train-the-Trainer session. Upon registration, participants will receive all required materials, including access to the online course/exam, participant workbook, and digital instructor resources.
